cassette perdido / new wave en chile

Poniendo orden en mis cosas me encontre con un viejo cassette que debe tener por lo menos unos quinze anos si no es mas.
Son los primeros demos de un grupo santiaguino que se llamaba Indice de Desempleo en el que tocaba teclados y a veces cantaba Cristobal Pfennings, tambien conocido como Juanito Zapatillas. Entre otros tracks figuran "Warema kk" y "Tu Pena", dos increibles y halucinantes temas cold wave/post punk. Creo que esto fue grabado por el 86 o 87 y suena realmente cool.
No se si han cachado dos compilaciones que salieron hace poco que se llaman respectivamente "The Sexual lives of the Savage" y "Nao Wave". Reunen a grupos brasileros new wave del fin de los setentas y comienzos de los ochentas. Hay bueno y malo pero me parecio buenisimo que haya gente en europa interesada en conocer el sonido latino de la epoca. De golpe me dieron ganas de colectar material chileno de los 80 para poder mostrarle a la gente de aca como sonaba la escena alternativa y underground santiaguina en aquellos tiempos. Estan los clasicos que todos conocemos pero seguramente existen grabaciones de demos o conciertos de grupos como los Indices de Desempleo que andan por ahi.... Alguien recuerda aun lugares como la Nona Jazz o el Garage Internacional?
Bueno en cuanto arregle mi compu que anda crazy, subo un par de tracks de los Indice para que los escuchen. Si alguien por ahi tiene material para compartir, pues bienvenido!!!

DEAD SEA FLOTATION PARTY

hy to all!!
yeah, we're just back from Tel Aviv. We met great people there, and had a lot of fun.
We performed at the barzilay club, a cool underground place in downtown Tel Aviv and i can tell that people were just hot and punk!!!
We had the chance to stay a little longer than just one night so we went on the next day to Jerusalem, the Dead Sea and Jericho.
Sounds really biblic, no? That was really weird and cool!
As soon as i fix my computer, i'll put on all promissed pix.
We got great ones from the dead sea flotation.

para los que nos estan esperando, puedo decirles que hay hartas posibilidades que estemos yendo a tocar entre oct y dic 2005.
cuando se vayan confirmando las fechas las voy publicando en el panicoblog. por el momento es solo un rumor....

yeah we spent a lot of time in germany lately and performed in berlin, hannover, wismar, stutgart.
we also performed at razzmatazz, barcelona. it was our last tour gig and really enjoyed the barcelonian sun and party.
i got some wild pix from all of us looking like zombies after the show after a 48hrs non sleep journey.
